Download a malware scanner

Point your browser to https://www.malwarebytes.com and download the free version of Malwarebytes for your PC or Mac.
Once the download has completed, proceed to installing the application.

Run a scan with Malwarebytes

Navigate to the "Scan" option on the left and make sure the "Threat Scan" option is selected. Now click on the big blue button "Start Scan"
A scan will run and in the process will look for program updates, do various system scans and eventually display any threats found. Click on the "Quarantine Selected" button to automagically clear out these nasties. You might be prompted to restart your computer after the process has completed.
